What is scaffolding?

Metal scaffolding is one of the most widely used types of scaffolding, which is made using seamed steel scaffolding pipe. These tubes are known in the market as tube 5 and their outer diameter is 48.3 mm. The steel pipes are made using ST37 black sheet and by cold rolling method and have high strength while having light weight. This issue has caused metal scaffolding to be used to perform various tasks at height. Of course, the seamed steel pipe is not the only member of this scaffolding, and to connect these pipes to each other, fasteners, horizontal connections, etc. are used.< /p>

What are the types of metal scaffolding?

You have probably seen the traditional type of metal scaffolding on the facade of most construction projects. There are other types of metal scaffolding, whose applications are wider and different from the traditional ones.

Triangular metal scaffolding

The reason for naming this type as triangular scaffolding is its triangular frames. These frames have a fixed width of 120 cm and are produced in lengths of 50 to 100 cm. Connecting these frames to each other leads to the formation of square and rectangular frames, which are connected to each other in male and female form. Also, this type of metal scaffolding has jacks that are used to adjust the height of the scaffolding. Triangular scaffolding is mostly used as a foundation and framing for giant concrete structures such as vehicular bridges.

Hammered metal scaffolding

The name of this type of metal scaffolding is inspired by the way it is installed. There is no need for a wrench to install hammer scaffolding, and its components are connected to each other with the help of a hammer. On the vertical bases of this scaffolding, there are a series of connection points similar to clamps, which are opened when horizontal pipes are installed, and after placing the horizontal pipes between its jaws, using a hammer, the desired connection is established and the jaws are closed. They close.

Suspended Scaffolding

A suspended scaffolding is a type of metal scaffolding whose bases are not placed on the ground, and to maintain the strength of the scaffolding, horizontal pipes restrain it inside the building. Sometimes, due to project scheduling considerations, there is a need to have an empty place under the scaffolding, and for this reason, suspended scaffolding is used. Suspended scaffolding is also called raised scaffolding and its installation method is similar to traditional metal scaffolding installation.
